What’s next?
The learning projects this year have not supplanted other opportunities for professional development. Our obligations to the NSW Institute of Teachers, as well as to our teachers not directly involved in the research project, mean that we are continuing to offer high quality in-house and outsourced professional development opportunities.
We hope that reflective practice, practitioner research and action learning become a part of the professional culture at the college. Such an approach requires the ongoing commitment of the staff to a philosophy of continuous improvement, and the commitment of the Board of Directors to supporting such a model of professional learning into the future.
